Richmond Delta Youth Orchestra (RDYO) is seeking an Operations Director who is excited to join the leadership team for our long-running and successful youth orchestra at an important crossroads.
In this newly created position, reporting to the Board of Directors, we are seeking an Operations Director to take the executive lead on administrative and operational matters of the society including supporting Board governance, finance, fund development, and managing the administrative staff and committees of the organization.
The Operations Director is an equal partner in the leadership team, and will work in tandem with the Music Director and the Board, to collectively manage the people,
communications, impact, and strategic direction of the organization.
The successful candidate will be an established leader in the charitable sector, have proven experience with in person and remote leadership, fund development, and motivating a volunteer Board of Directors and a small team of staff. They will bring strong collaborative co-leadership acumen for working in tandem with the Music Director to ensure a well rounded and diverse skillset contributes to growing and moving the charity forward both artistically and operationally.
